THINGS TO DO

Abbotsbury SwanneryAbbotsbury Swannery
For over 600 years this colony of friendly mute swans has made its home at the Abbotsbury Sanctuary. Sheltered by the famous Chesil Beach, this ancient and special site provides protection for hundreds of nesting swans and their broods.
Just a short car ride from the hotel, in the springtime see the baby swans. A wonderful experience.

Abbotsbury Children's Farm
The ancient Tithe Barn site is home to a host of friendly farm animals. Many can be stroked and fed at regular times throughout the day. This is a wonderful place for the under 11's. Bottle feeding of the goats takes place twice a day. Toy tractor racing all day and pony ride sessions twice a day (for which a small extra charge is made).
